Part of the tradition of village cricket is the annual tour. For many its a chance to hone their skills against some quality opposition, for others its an opportunity to explore the local heritage of another interesting part of the country.

But let's face it -for most of us, however, it's an escape from the family and the chance for a few beers... Cricket may be part of the tour, but it tends to be a way of filling up the days (although extended licensing hours have helped) and it won't stop us having a great time.
