Tour highlights and lowlights were reported as:

Highlights:

Against the Reaseheath team Richard Jones scored his maiden 50 (for Barford) and went on to make 75. Mrs Jones remarked he last scored like that over 18 years ago - women can be so cruel. He was ably supported by Glen Turner who contributed a modest little 65 n.o. in less than even time. If that wasn't enough veteran seamer, Mike Ireland, tweaked the ball occasionally to take 5 for 32 from 8 overs. Three jugs and the night looked promising!

Lowlights:

Over indulgence in vodka and red bulls on Friday night - a pitiful sight seen on Saturday - no names Steve. The not-so-secret-bunker. Messrs Read and veteran seamer giving the same room number to a breakfast waiter who suddenly shock- horror, realised they were very good friends. Mr Romyn's drunken slumbers during court. Mr Justice (?!?) Jolly administering swinging/swingeing sentences - he took a little too readily to that rôle.
