Preseason Party

After imposing on the Chairman's hospitality for too long now, this year we're moving over the road to the Village Hall. There'll be the usual food, drink and entertainments on offer starting at 12:30 on Sunday 17th April and going on until the vittals run out or we all fall over. I'll post the ticket prices and more details when they've been confirmed.

6 a side

The annual 6 a side competition this year falls on Saturday 18th June, and promises the usual spectacle.

Quiz Night

It's back to the Village Hall again on Saturday 15th October at 7.30pm for another evening of erudition under the watchful eye of your genial Quizmaster - or if he can't make it, we'll let Martin Lusby (the William G Stewart of Barford) take over. Tickets are an absolute steal at £7.50 a head to include a hot dinner, so get your teams in to either Sandy Peirson or Mike Suffield.

Annual Dinner

The Annual Dinner was (somewhat belatedly) held at the Warwick Arms Hotel this year on 27 January. As you can see from the pictures (thanks Mushie!), it was well-attended and enjoyed by all.

Mike provided his usual pithy commentary on the state of the club handing out brickbats and plaudits in equal measure. Sandy, not helped by the dim lighting which rendered any notes indecipherable, produced a "stream of conciousness" that... well you really had to be there.
