Preseason Party

Chris Prince has very kindly offered the use of his house for this year’s pre-season party, which will take place on Sunday 5th April from 12:30 onwards, after the last session of Winter Nets. Further details to follow when Mike lets me have them!

Thanks once again to Rachel and Chris (the order is significant!) for hosting another wonderful pre-season party and even ensuring the weather stayed fine. Everyone ate and drank themselves to a virtual standstill, with the exception of the host and the secretary who indulged in a spot of competitive stilt-racing, although they both lost abysmally to younger, faster (female) opposition.

Hopefully some photos of the event will be forthcoming. There were certainly a few cameras on show and a certain Tim Jolly appears to be developing a predeliction for zoom lenses - you have been warned...

Quiz Night

The Quiz is pencilled in this coming year for Saturday 17th October and your genial master of ceremonies will once again be Martin Lusby. Tickets are £7.50 per person, so get on to Paul Henderson (someone in Twitterland!) and reserve your table now!
