Preseason Party

The Prince's once again hosted an excellent pre-season bash on 10th April and even remembered to book the glorious weather. Judging by the number of babies (and near-babies!) on show the club succession planning seems to be working.

Many thanks to Chris and (especially) Rachel for being such generous hosts and we can only hope that the lawn recovers after being aerated by the Chairman's stilt-racing efforts...

Quiz

It's back to quiz-master Lusby this year after Simon Drage's excellent interlude last year, so summon up those grey cells for the evening of Saturday 15th October at Barford Village Hall. Tickets (a bargain £7.50 per person to include a tasty meal) and further info from Social Secretary Paul Henderson.

Thanks for Martin and Sue Lusby for hosting another entertaining and informative quiz, Simon D for running the bar, and to the plethora of caterers who provided such tasty fare. The name(s) of the winners escapes me (not that I'm bitter), although I seem to remember the Treasurer being involved somehow...

Christmas Bicycle Tour

This year's Christmas Bicyle Tour will be on Thursday 22nd December meeting at the Zetland Arms for 19:30. Hopefully the snow won't be as bad as last year, causing even Sandy to abandon his velocipede in favour of something a little safer!

Annual Dinner

Will no doubt be happening at some point in January - speeches will be made and prizes will be distributed at the wim of the current captain...
