Another year, and another tour has been and gone. A big up to the Tourmeister who excelled himself in not only finding a reasonable hotel, plenty of beer and (relatively) compliant opposition, but also organised a sunny weekend in the wettest July ever(!). I believe that plans are already afoot to redo whole extravaganza next year, and I for one will be replenishing my first aid kit asap.

The tour page has been updated to include Match Reports (where available, Mr Chairman), and Highs and Lows.

Mushie has sent some pictures of the horrendous flooding that subsequently followed us on tour - it's hard to believe that we played cricket there!

For the non-tourists among you (shame on you!), I'm afraid the rest of the month has been a wash-out. When the opposition employ an RAF airlift to rescue their stranded team, you just know that you're just going to have to miss your Sunday afternoon work-out (!?) and mow the lawn instead. Whether it's a product of global warming or just a blip on the meteoroligical horizon, the message is clear - if you want to play cricket in July, then you have to come on tour!

On the charidee front, Mike's flabwatch countdown has come to an end with him tipping the scales at 16st on the button - a fabulous effort, and one that his has pledged to continue. The totals owed are probably still subject to litigation but should also include a £5 per head for Timmsy being strong-armed into removing his dot and dash whilst on tour...
